Why...

Do vacation days absolutely fly by, while a regular week crawls?

I guess technically, I am not on vacation, since I dont really start til Monday, but I consider it vacay, since it is my last week of "freedom".

I cannot believe tommorrow is Thursday! Seriously, where did Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday go???

Maybe its because we have been pretty busy. Monday was Sweeter's first day of Playschool since the Holiday's. Spud and I hung out while she was gone, visited Daddy at work, ran by the Library. Just hangin'. It was fun!

Tuesday, we hung out for the morning, then went to the Community Centre in town to play in the arena. They throw a bunch of balls out in the arena, and let the kids run wild! The kids love it, and it gets us all out of the house, and allows them to burn off some excess energy. After we were done there, we met Papa for lunch, and then went home for Spudder to have a nap. He must of been tired, as he passed out for 3 hours! Unheard of!

Today, we hit the Pool for Parent & Tot swim, the kids loved it!! So did I, however, I sooooo could have done without seeing the old men in Speedos who were there for Lane Swim. *shudder* Speedos ought to be banned for all. Sweeter also had her first dance class of the New Year today. She sure loves her dance class!

As for tomorrow, I don't really have much planned. Who knows, we seem to keep busy, anyway.

Friday, the kids are supposed to go to their new Dayhome for most of the day, so they can get used to it. I have a pedicure booked while they are there. I feel selfish booking it, but I have had the gift card for it since LAST Christmas (as in 2008!) So I thought this was a great opportunity to use it. That said...I kinda feel like I should cancel the whole thing, as in the dayhome and the pedicure. After all, it is my last day, just the 3 of us. And really, will having them go to the Dayhome for one day before they go Full Time really make a difference ???? Probably not. Guess I will have to decide tomorrow.

I haven't really been taking any pics lately either...maybe that will be tomorrow's project!
