I will Survive!

Yep. I made it. I am still alive. And feeling relatively normal today. It has been 11 days since I first got hives. They decided to make a return visit today after I finished Boot Camp. Apparently they are NOT fans of heat. Other than that, my head feels good, and I managed to avoid going to the Walk In Clinic yesterday, for which I am thrilled, as that place is a just a goldmine of germs that I want no part of.

All 4 of us are headed to the Flu clinic tomorrow, to get our H1N1 vax. Should be a great family bonding experience. I am hoping that this will give us the immunity we need to stay "H1N1 FREE". I do NOT want any of us to get this. But considering the fact that I run a dayhome, and the amount of germs we are exposed to by association with the kids....I am gonna guess we will be sick. Its just a matter of time. With my luck I will put us all through the waiting for the shot, the pain of the shot, and then we will pick up the virus in the 2 weeks it takes to kick in.

The kiddo's are doing fine. Sweeter is still lovin' her Preschool, in fact she had a Halloween Party at school yesterday, and I was her guest. It was alot of fun, and I could tell that she really enjoys her time there. She continues to really enjoy her dance class as well. This week she gets to wear her Halloween Costume to class. She will either be VERY excited about that, or angry that she doesn't get to wear her special dance clothes.....

Spud is still....Spud. A crazy-busy little man. Some days I think he is going to drive me insane with his new habit of running to either the fridge or the pantry and screaming until we open them foir him. UUGH. Sometimes he is hungry. Often times he just wants to look. He seems to have an obsession with the bag of rice on the lower shelf in the pantry. Strange, strange little man. He is starting to talk a bit, but definitley in his own schedule. I can't wait til he gets more words. Hopefully that will mean the end of the SCREECH! His surgery is scheduled for Dec 3. I am actually getting really excited to get it done. Of course, I dont want him to have to go through this, but I really think it will be a good thing for his health, so I am looking forward to having it over with, and hopefully having a little man who feels GOOD!

And with that, I think you are up to speed on the recent happenings in Vogelville! Please send some STAY HEALTHY vibes our way, as we I am getting tired of sickness!
