Last night my kids were driving me bonkers. Actually it wasn't just me they were driving up the wall, but Cody too. Both were cranky. Sweeter was purposefully disobedient (I hate purposefully disobedient, ya know when they do something wrong and turn to you with a glint in their eye that says "HA!"), and Spud was just whiny. Constant whiny. It was one of those evenings where Cody and I look at each other and think..."We signed up for THIS??? TWICE??" Anyway, there I sat at the table trying to get my purposefully disobedient daughter to just eat her freakin' hot dog, so I could throw her into a tub and then bed ASAP...when I looked down and saw her sweet little girl hand....
See it?
And I melted. That's how I know that I made the bestest decision ever to have kids. I can be in the worst mood ever, and yet all it takes is seeing a pudgy, little, mustard covered hand, and I am done.
So I kissed that pudgy little hand, mustard and all, and my little girl looked up and me and said "I love you Mommy." Life doesn't get any better.
(Well, 'cept maybe when they were in bed by 7:30...and I was laying on the couch eating some well deserved chocolate ;)

Hey, I love your blog, it's always nice to know there are people out there reading what's going on in your life, and most likely very much living similar moments/frustrations! I don't keep up my blog very well, but I will try to get better with that. Can't wait til the next post!
